Light Use Efficiency

Light-use efficiency (LUE) = daily biomass gain ÷ DLI, i.e. grams of dry matter produced per mol of PAR delivered. This is a direct ratio of your two entered values; the grow period only scales the cumulative biomass/light totals.

How it calculates

LUE = daily biomass gain ÷ DLI; the grow-period input does not change LUE (it cancels), it only scales the cumulative totals.
Typical leafy-greens LUE is roughly 1–2 g dry matter per mol PAR; fruiting crops are lower. Use as a directional benchmark.
