Plant Science & Biology
Estimates health, vigor, nitrogen status and maturity from observed leaf color/shape and plant dimensions you enter. This is a rule-based estimate from hand-entered traits — it does not use images or identify a species/cultivar.
Despite the name, this does not identify a plant species or read a photo. You hand-enter a few things you can see — leaf shape, leaf color, plant height, and stem thickness — and it applies simple rules to gauge overall vigor, a rough nitrogen status, and how far along the plant is. Think of it as a structured version of a quick visual walk-through.
For a fast, no-instrument gut-check on a crop during scouting when you have not yet pulled a tissue test. It is crop-agnostic and deliberately coarse. Do not use it to diagnose a specific deficiency or to identify an unknown plant — it does neither.
Health Score (/100) and Growth Vigor (/10) rise with a taller, thicker-stemmed, dark-green plant; a low score usually traces back to the leaf color you selected. Estimated Nitrogen Status comes straight from leaf color — dark green reads high, yellow-green reads low — which is only a proxy, so a low reading is a prompt to run a real tissue or sap test, not a confirmed diagnosis. Maturity Index is a size-based percentage, not a true growth-stage. Treat all four as directional flags to investigate, never as measured values.
