Energy Consumption & Cost Calculator

A plain energy-bill breakdown for a whole facility. You enter the electrical load (in kilowatts) of each major system — lighting, HVAC, pumps, everything else — plus how many hours a day you run and your electricity rate, and it totals up daily consumption and monthly cost and shows which system dominates.

Early budgeting or a "where is my power bill going?" check for any indoor or greenhouse operation. It is crop-agnostic. It is a bookkeeping tool, not an optimizer: the "Projected Savings" figure just multiplies your bill by a savings percentage you type in yourself, so it is only as real as that assumption.

Daily Consumption and Monthly Cost are straightforward arithmetic and should match your utility bill if your kW figures are right. Lighting % of Total is the most useful diagnostic — if lighting is the biggest slice, an LED retrofit or dimming schedule is where the money is; if HVAC dominates, look at your cooling and dehumidification instead. Projected Annual Savings is not a modeled reduction — it is your bill times the efficiency percentage you entered, so change that input to reflect a real measure before quoting the number.
