"MEP" is the building-trades shorthand for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing — the three big utility systems every facility needs. This is a first-pass sizing tool: from your floor area, number of floors, lighting density, and target air-change rate, it estimates the electrical service, cooling capacity, water demand, and ventilation your building will need. "ACH" (air changes per hour) is how many times per hour you fully replace the room's air; "CFM" is the fan capacity to do that.
Very early in a build or expansion, to get ballpark utility numbers before an engineer draws up real MEP plans — useful for site selection, budgeting, and checking whether an existing building's power service is even close. It is crop-agnostic (about the facility). These are rough sizing figures with safety factors, NOT a stamped engineering design.
Electrical Service is the amperage at 480V your panel needs (it already includes a 25% headroom factor and a 1.3× multiplier over bare lighting watts). Cooling Capacity in tons should roughly track a heat-load calc — cross-check it against the Thermal Management tool. Water Demand is now crop-driven: it sizes irrigation from your chosen crop's water intensity over the growing area (a thirsty crop like cucumber can need 3× the daily water of leafy greens) plus a small facility base, and Peak Irrigation Flow sizes the pump/line for shot delivery. Ventilation scales with volume and your ACH. If Electrical Service comes back far above what a candidate building offers, that site needs a service upgrade — a major cost. Treat all as "order-of-magnitude, get an engineer to confirm."
