Compliance & Safety
Water, energy & waste metrics for ESG reporting and environmental compliance.
Turns your yearly energy, water, and waste totals into the "per pound of product" intensity metrics that ESG and sustainability reports ask for. ESG stands for environmental, social, and governance — the framework buyers and investors use to judge how green an operation is. It also estimates a carbon footprint and a rough ESG score.
When preparing an ESG or sustainability report, answering a buyer's environmental questionnaire, or benchmarking your own resource use year over year. Any crop; you need annual energy, water, waste, recycle rate, and total production weight.
Energy per lb and Water per lb are the key numbers — lower is more efficient, and they let you compare across years or against peers regardless of facility size. Carbon Footprint sums energy, water, and un-recycled waste into tonnes of CO₂ using generic emission factors, so treat it as an estimate not an audited inventory. The ESG Score starts at 50 and adds points for hitting efficiency and recycling thresholds; it is a rough self-benchmark, not a certified rating, so use it to track your own progress rather than to make external claims. To move the numbers, cut energy per lb (efficiency, LEDs) and lift the recycle rate.
